We look forward to hearing from you. Send us an e-mail to request a Preschool/Kindergarten brochure or to set up a visit. You can also call us at (425) 557-7829.

Do you offer an introductory visit?

Yes. Each new family should visit the school at least one time prior to enrollment. Please call in advance to schedule a visit at (425) 557-7829.

What is your tuition and registration fee?

Please see our Programs for individual Tuitions Rates.

Registration Fee for the first year is a non-refundable $100 to cover administrative costs. Subsequent year registration fee is $50.

Are there any forms we need to complete prior to our child attending Lagarllito's Garden Bilingual Spanish School?

The following forms are required prior to a child's attendance:

  • Lagarllito's Garden Bilingual Spanish School Agreement Form
  • Child Medical Form
  • Parent Permission Form
  • Certificate of Immunization Status

Do you require proof of my child's immunizations?

A Certificate of Immunization Status (CIS) Form must be used, current and updated yearly (more frequently for infants.)
All children must be current on their immunizations. If there is a signed exemption to immunizations, the child may need to be excluded from the school if there is an outbreak of a vaccine preventable disease for which the child has not been immunized.

Do you offer a trial period?

We have a four week trial period. This time is used to observe the child's adjustment to care and to talk about any concerns. I will talk to you daily about your child's day. Please tell me if you have any concerns. After the four week trial period we will determine if the school services are satisfactory to everyone.

What are the class times? Do you offer part-time and drop-in?

Our program hours are between 9:30am and 3:30 pm, with extended drop-in times from 7-9am and 3:30-6pm. There is a charge of $6 per hour. (This rate is only for Pre-K registered students.)

Do you offer a family discount?

Yes. When more than one child from the same family is enrolled full-time, a 10% reduction is given for the oldest child.

How is security handled for drop-off and pick-up?

When arriving, the parent, guardian or authorized person must sign the child in and sign out at pick-up time. The sign-in/sign-out form is located at the entrance. You are required to sign-in/sign-out using full name, date and time.

You will be asked to fill out the Lagarllito's Garden Bilingual Spanish School Register Form to authorize who is going to be picking up your child, or notice can be given one day prior to the pick-up day. I will not release your child to any person without your written permission. The person picking up your child must have identification, as we may ask for verification of identity before releasing a child.

Who makes up the teaching staff at Lagarllito's Garden Bilingual Spanish School?

We have two full-time staff: Myself, Rocio Gannaway, and Mrs. Norma Alves Milho. You can read more about us in About Us.

Do you provide receipts for tax purposes?

Yes. The School will provide you a payment receipt for payments to Lagarllito's Garden Bilingual Spanish School. You will also receive and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) W-10 Form reporting your annual child school expenditures for the applicable tax year.

Can my child bring anything from home?

Yes, but we discourage bringing anything other than a comfort item for napping.

We do also ask that parents send along an extra set of clothing that can be left at the school. If the child is in the process of toilet training we will request the necessary diapers/pull-ups/supplies.

What insurance does Lagarllito's Garden Bilingual Spanish School carry?

Professional liability insurance: $500,000.

Accidental/medical insurance: $5,000.

My child has certain allergies. Will these be considered at the school?

Lagarllito's Garden Bilingual Spanish School is a nut-free environment: no foods with peanuts and nuts will be accepted at school.

Parents can provide their children's own lunches, snacks and drinks. We will monitor lunches and we ask all parents to be careful about avoiding nut products in food, particularly in packaged foods, sent with their children to the school.

Our school is also a smoke-free environment and smoking will not be permitted anywhere on the premises during school hours.
