Our bilingual program offers a balanced approach where part of the day is fully immersed in Spanish, while the rest integrates both English and Spanish to support confident communication in both languages.

Lagarllito’s Garden is proudly recognized by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) maintaining the highest standards in early learning. We also participate in Early Achievers (Washington State’s quality rating and improvement system) which helps families identify programs that prepare children for lifelong success.
Our classrooms follow The Creative Curriculum, meeting all State and DCYF (Department of Children, Youth, and Families) standards and regulations. Each day, children engage in hands-on, meaningful learning experiences that nurture curiosity, independence, and growth through STEM-based activities that encourage exploration, problem-solving, and discovery in science, nature, building, and math, this way, children develop the confidence to think critically and creatively.
We are also proud to collaborate with Help Me Grow to offer ASQ (Ages and Stages Questionnaires developmental screenings) to support each child’s individual growth and milestones. Our educators participate in ongoing professional development through the Imagine Institute and training programs with the University of Washington, ensuring that our teaching practices remain innovative and effective. In addition, we partner with the Elementary Special Programs TOSA and the Dual Language program to support smooth and successful transitions into kindergarten.
